Until recently I was not very excited about who we had on deck for the GOP nomination.
Hell, I would have been delighted with a President Dick Cheney. :)
But now I'm starting to feel a little stirring in my soul, thinking about Perry/Palin 2012.
Perry has been accused of being a RINO, but he's solid on free enterprise, gun rights, pro-life, and the appointing of strict constructionist judges.
Very important points, despite some concern about immigration, etc.
How about this Cabinet lineup:
John Bolton as Secretary of State
Allen West as Secretary of Defense
Marco Rubio as UN Ambassador
Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich at Commerce and Treasury (not sure who goes where)
Ron Paul or Alan Keyes at Justice
Then it's on to Palin/Bachmann 2020...
:)

The left's collective heads would go all explodey and "civil discourse" would be not just out the door as it is with them now, it would be a ghostly memory. Don't want Keys or Paul in any administration. Have to check about West; there are rules about former military taking some appointed positions, I think, but then Powell was SecState so it shoiuld be okay. The very thought of this line up puts a thrill up my leg!
