Obama plans for electricity costs to "skyrocket". A/C costs will hit Midwest, South & Southwest HARD this Summer.

Over 90% of the coal used in the US is to generate electricity.

Obama says coal will be taken "off the table" and promises to "bankrupt" those who would build coal industry power plants to meet America's rising demand for energy.

He further says his energy plan will make your electricity costs "necessarily skyrocket".

Needless to say, greatly inflated air conditioning costs will hit the Midwest, South & Southwest VERY HARD this Summer.

In some States this extreme pain could be felt as early as late Spring, even in late May or early April.

The ill, poor and elderly will be hurt worst, and it could prove fatal to many of them due to heatstroke and heat exhaustion.

“So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can,” Obama said. “It’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.”

The article warns that, "The issue is particularly sensitive in coal-rich Ohio, West Virginia, and Colorado. Obama made the comments to the San Francisco Chronicle in January, which were posted on YouTube over the weekend."

Obama continued ominously, "Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket."

These soon-to-be affected regions contain most of the swing States, and Obama will cost all the folks there a ton of extra money!

Could this be the post-October surprise we've been waiting for? Nay... PRAYING for?

Why not take from the rich and give to the poor?

Here's a good reason why not: It doesn't help anything.

If we took the entire $58 billion that Bill gates is worth (recent stock tumbles not included) and divided it evenly among all people in the US (301,139,947 in the July 2007 estimate) each would get a whopping $192.60.

It would be gone in minutes, and would anyone's life truly be better?
