Drilling in ANWR: How wide an impact? The truth is right here...

As oil prices begin to creep back up, here's an issue worth revisiting.

The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) consists of about 20 million acres.

The area in which advocates want to drill for oil is about 2,000 acres.

The drawing below shows the relative proportion of these numbers.

For you shooters, that would be like a 7.62mm / .30-caliber hole in a 30" round shotgun patterning target.

I say, "Drill here. Drill now!"

Could not agree more!!! Lets use what we got until its gone. At least we can buy us some time until some other fuel source becomes viable and not have to be beholden to a region of the world that hates us.
